Creating an clean and tidy office space starts with understanding the importance of decluttering. By removing unnecessary items, you not only enhance your office space but also promote a sense of calm and order which will help you be more productive with your work. A well-organised environment can increase productivity and reduce stress.

Strategies for Effective decluttering and organisation

To achieve this,  it’s crucial to implement effective strategies to create a clutter free office.

  • Begin by categorising your belongings into piles…for example *daily used items* *items used less frequently and can be stored away* *items to donate* *items to bin*
  • Organise the daily used items on your desk / shelves that can be easily accessed.
  • Place items that are used less in to storage solutions. Try to use storage you may already have. ie boxes / cupboards / shelves etc or once you have decluttered and you realise you need more storage space purchase some aesthetically pleasing baskets and boxes – this should be fun so you can add your own unique style.

Remember, less is often more when it comes to home organisation. Try to keep the items you keep to things that actually serve a purpose, or if its deco – Do you love it? If the answer is yes, then keep. If no – donate and let someone else love it.
